Solution for the drippy Blue Ice CLO bottles?

O.k. the drippy CLO bottles have driven me nuts for the last 2+ years. I'm always wiping them with a paper towel and I still have a mess on my fridge shelf not to mention stinky hands everytime I handle the bottle. Has anyone found a solution or trick to keep the bottle less messy? I know that capsules are available, but need the liquid for dd.

TIA,

do you have the new bottle with the syringe? They don't leak. The one with the dropper was quite a mess. Maybe order a new bottle and pour your old oil in it when you use it down?

Ooh, but I thought only the Blue Ice Gold Theraputics came in the syringe bottles??

Yea, my Blue Ice always makes a mess too. : I keep mine in a small plastic cup in the fridge - but that doesn't help with the pouring issues.

I don't think they come with any other type of mouth...

Maybe something to email the company about...

When I worked at a compounding pharmacy we replaced most of the caps on stock bottles of liquids with Adaptacaps. They screw onto the bottle but they have a small opening that fits a standard slip-tip syringe, so you can turn the bottle upside down and draw back how much you want in an oral syringe.

I've only ordered them from pharmaceutical supply places, but it looks like they're not too hard to find on the internet: http://www.abundanthealth4u.com/AdaptaCaps_s/50.htm

I'll look into adapt-a-caps. I'm also going to write to Dave who owns Green Pastures and ask him about switching the cap. I know lots of people have this issue with the CLO bottles. Thanks for all the replies.

This drives me crazy also! They used to have the little foil seal on the new bottles and if you were really careful, you could just poke a little hole in it and it wouldn't drip. I wish they still did that... The only thing that helps me is to hold the spoon as close to the edge bottle as possible, it's not too bad that way.

my fermented has the syringe top, so I thought they all did now.

drives me nuts too. Someone on here recommended putting a paper towel around the top (like you would do with a wine bottle). Simple and it helps a lot.

Hmm, well I just bought some non-fermented Blue Ice (cinnamon) and the bottles don't have the syringe thingy.
