i haven't been on mdc in a looong time now, and it appears all you mamas are a little worried. well, our family has endured some great tragedy recently. i can't say what, i don't know if i ever will be able to.
congratulations to all the new mamas and i have to say, BEAUTIFUL babies!
my son was born via UC on Feb 21!!! he weighed over 8 lbs with a big barrel chest. that's 2 lbs bigger than dd! no tears for me and physically i feel great. his daddy caught him and was a dream during my labor and birth.
labor lasted 42 hours!!! pushing took about 15 minutes. i wasn't ever in hard labor for very long though. it just was a stop-and-start affair.
i am glad everyone is enjoying their beads. i am soooo sorry to mamas who didn't get theirs in time, i actually didn't ever finish my own beads, my dh did the day before i gave birth.
flapjack and Nature- your beads both came back to me, so if you pm me your address, i'll send them out asap.

Ash is so easy-going i forget he's here sometimes!
he smiles constantly and laughs everyday, he's such a happy kid. he nurses well and at 3 weeks already weighs over 10 lbs! i am thrilled to have a big baby. dd was so tiny and still is. she was in preemie clothes for a month and didn't weigh 10 lbs until she was 5 or 6 mo old. he's very strong, already holding his head up and rolling over.
thank you lovely mamas for your support and caring, just knowing you were there was comforting.
