Wyatt Robert Giles was born naturally Saturday, March 8th at 2:17pm. He weighed 7lbs 4oz and is 18.5 inches long!
All week I had been telling my friends how great it would be if I would go into labor early Saturday morning and birth Saturday because my favorite midwife was on call.
Well, the universe was looking out for us because I started timing my contractions at 6 minutes apart at 4:06am and within the hour they came every three mins and before you know my water broke and we had to hightail it to the hospital and he was born at 2:17.
I had an amazing natural hospital birth. My labor was very hard and intense (back labor the whole time) and I could not have done it without my wonderful and persistant birthing team and solid birth plan.
