So, after the birth of DS, my cervical os is, relative to what it used to be, freakin' humongous!

I'm charting to avoid at the present and I find that checking to see how open my cervix is at any given time in my cycle is a real big joke, because it's always just very big (once again, compared to what it used to be). I only have experience checking out my own cervix... so I don't know what's normal... I could easily fit a fingertip inside my os... and I had an IUD expel itself at 10 mos PP.

Today I got to wondering if this would put me more at risk of having an incompetent cervix in future pregnancies. What do you think? Will my cervix just buck up and clamp down if I get pregnant again, or might my little bean fall out?

Any insight will be much appreciated!

Thanks!
