I might be dropping out. HAPPY UPDATE #24

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed but I've been spotting/bleeding lightly since Tuesday evening. Called the doc, she said to wait it out; had my levels checked today and they were at 9000 but that's only a base line so I won't know till next week if they're growing or shrinking; and I've got an ultrasound on Tuesday so hopefully I'll be hearing a heartbeat.

I'm so seriously bummed out. So.Seriously.Bummed.

Has anyone been in this situation before and have it turn out ok?

Anyone?

I had some bleeding (not just spotting) Wednesday. None today. I went to OB on Wed. there was still a gestational sac. We did a beta Hcg and will repeat Friday (48 hrs)... Fingers crossed (and legs and soul)...

this thread gave me some hope:

I had it happen in my previous pregnancy at 11 weeks (light bleeding for maybe 2-3 days). Everything turned out fine. Hopefully the u/s will tell you more--that's what it did for us.

I had it last week around the time AF was due. Started Monday night after a BM and it was pink, then the rest of the week until Thursday was spotting brown. Haven't been to the doctor, but I feel like everything is fine and my midwife was not concerned, said it might be implantation or just my cervix. I have an EDD of Nov. 9th, not sure when yours is. Good vibes to you! :

Wow--thanks so much for the link to that other thread--that was very comforting. I'm still nervous, of course, and will be until the ultrasound on Tuesday, but in the meantime I'm still tired as heck and craving lemonade like you wouldn't believe so HOPEFULLY those are good signs that this little one is sticking around!

I'm crossing my fingers that MAYBE it was a false alarm. Sorry for the drama!!! I won't know for sure until Tuesday but the bleeding has stopped and I'm definitely still feeling pregnant. My only worry I guess is that it happened but I still have enough hormones in me that are causing the symptoms. My gut is telling me it's all good though so I'm going with that until I hear otherwise...

Good luck on your appointment Tuesday! Do you get an ultrasound and/or blood work? I have an US on Tuesday as well!!

Listen to your gut - a woman's intuition is very powerful!!

It's not Tuesday yet but I'm soooo nervous. And I'm totally psyching myself out reading all the pregnancy and loss pages. I need to stop that but I'm so obsessed right now! I was feeling 95% positive but my nurse just called and told me that she's prescribing some hormone (I forget the name, it starts with a P but it's not Progesterone) that she wants me to take everyday because my level was at 12 and needs to be at 14? Thoughts?
Thanks again for all the support--it really means a lot!

It's hard b/c sometimes the boards are such a great support system, but sometimes you end up reading a lot of worst case scenarios and that's not good at all. Tomorrow will be here before you know it, it's OK to be nervous, I think it's totally normal. Good luck and keep us posted!
