Scan-Pans and Teflon?

Has anyone heard anything about these Scan Pans (from scandinavia) and the fact that their non-stick surface is supposed to be the strongest, therefore not so dangerous??? My mom has them, they work GREAT but I'm generally against non-stick surfaces like Teflon...

What have you guys heard, anything?

i'm not sure about the scan-pans, but i've tried the greenpans sold on HSN and they are awesome.

I own a set of these because I heard and read that they aren't actually teflon, and they are safer. But I'm not sure either. I love using them, but would love to hear what others know about these too.
