I found it. The holy grail of face cleansers. The oil method was working for me (or so I thought) until I got a gander closer at my pores...blackheads everywhere!!!! Arrgggghhhh!!!!
So, I took my sorrowful butt down to the HFS and bought (finally, after waffling on spending more money on more facial cleansers) the Desert Essence Facial Cleanser. Ya know, the one that is like $6.00 for the 32oz size! Tried it that evening....the next morning (I kid you not) not a single blackhead was left...and what more, it cleaned my face without "stripping" it. My skin didn't feel tight or anything...just really, really clean. And this stuff is organic, vegan, no animal testing. And cheap. Like, dirt cheap.
I'll still use the OCM for my weekly "facials" as I love that moisturized feeling...but will now stick with this Desert Essence cleanser.
Just thought I'd share, as I had been curious about this cleanser for awhile now. Oh, it smells wicked strong...be aware, because the tea tree is really predominant it packs a mighty wallop when you are using it, but the scent dissipates after you rinse off.
