anyone taken it? i'm not sure if this is a coincidence, but before i started taking it, 4 days ago, i had very strong nursing contractions that would last for quite some time after DS would finish nursing; lots of cramping as well.

since i started taking it at 37 weeks, all of the "prelabour" signs are gone. even the rrlt does give me painful bhc.

coincidence?
a good sign?
not a good sign?

thoughts?

it contains:
aletris farinosa 30k
caulophyllum 30k
acter racemosa 30k
arnica montana 30k

15 drops 3 times/daily 3 weekss before delivery

I love homeopathy.... I found this out...

Caulophyllum

Caulophyllum 30 CH, first taken as granules, then as energized liquid as needed morning and evening is almost a specific [remedy] for false labor pains in the last month of pregnancy. These pains are characterized by a bearing-down sensation in the lower part of the abdomen.

Arnica

This remedy helps reduce shock and trauma to both the unborn child and the mother. Whether the situation is an amniocentesis, a severe fall or even the emotional trauma of seeing something frightening, Arnica will reduce and remove the emotional and physical strain. It also minimizes pain and bruising, prevents hemorrhaging and cramping and allows for a restful sleep.

A dose of Arnica 200 CH can be taken just before the amniocentesis test. Should pain occur after the test, a liquid dose of 200 CH can then be taken.

Arnica will also prevent a threatened miscarriage due to a serious fall or a great shock. After such an accident, the woman may feel nervous, excited and bruised. One dose of Arnica 200 CH in the liquid energized form should be taken every six hours until the shock has dissipated. If a fall, blow or overexertion induces symptoms of miscarriage, this remedy can be given frequently–first as granules, then in energized liquid form.

I could not find the other too... but will look in my homeopathic book later!

thanks!

this is soooo amazing! it actually worked! i use homeopathy from occasionally, but actually without much conviction . this is neat that it worked without me even knowing what the effects of it would be. just amazing! from painful nursing contractions with every nursing session to NONE! wow!

I'm sorry.... I looked in my book, "The Family Guide to Homeopathy" (which is really good) but I did not find those other two remedies in there. ?

aletris farinosa seems to be for pain aswell. But the other one is probably meant to be actaea racemosa, which is black cohosh, often used in pregnancy to shorten labour. I was interested in this because I have caulophyllum here in both 30 and 200 potency and am unsure whether to take it. I am almost 38 weeks and a particular book said to start on the 30 at 38 weeks but after researching a little, I'm not quite sure what action it may take. I am hoping for cervical ripening, but not labour induction. It is used for labour induction (much like the herb it is made from: blue cohosh) in some clinics.

So kind of unsure at this point, but seeing as how it stopped all of your false labour things, maybe it isn't too scary.

what is scary is that i didn't research it! this is so not like me. maybe it was my intuition, though, because if i were to read "labour induction" i would not have taken it. but now it did stop my prelabour very effectively. now, is this a good thing?

Intuition

I think it was intuition. I know for myself, I've been crazily obsessed with looking into everything and doing everything by the book and being nervous about every little thing.

Which, I'm looking at myself and thinking... this isn't good for the baby.

And, I'd love to be able to set aside my fears and rely once again on my instincts. So, I'd consider it a good sign!!!!
