I remember learning somewhere along the way (growing up), that if you have fat (flab) and then you have surgery, and then stitched up, that you will have trouble loosing fat in that area (where the incision healed). Does anyone know if this is true or just a myth? I can see how it could maybe be true if there is scarred tissue (?) and then maybe that'd block the fat cells from weight loss. ??? who knows! does anyone know if that is even possible?

Reason why I ask... I'm 3wk post partum and will be have a tubal in a few weeks and don't want to end up with a problem losing fat in that area. I don't have a whole lot to lose, but still... i dont want a problem afterwards.

anyone know firsthand?

thanks.
