Anyone else still working? I am sitting here with a room full of teenagers doing quiet work while I wonder if the two contractions I am having an hour mean anything My official last day was supposed to be the 28th, but now I wonder if I will make it until Easter.

I'm home sick today but will work through Wednesday, I'm scheduled for induction Wed. night. I only get 6 weeks mat. leave and want every single one of those days with my baby.

I'm still working, but I run a day care out of my home, so at least I can lie down when I want to. I plan on keeping kids until the day I deliver. Less time off that way.

I'm still working. I see no reason to leave early as long as I'm able to do my job (which isn't very strenuous). After all, I only get 12 weeks to be home and I want as much of that to be with the babe, not before it.

i'm now 9 days past my due date, and I am just too tired to work anymore...I can't handle the clients and being on my feet all day....(I only get 3 weeks paid Mat Leave) but I can take as much time off that I need....

Cudos to ya'll for stickin it out!

I''ve been working from home for the last 11 weeks or so. Just had my review and it was terrible. Apparently my boss just isn't happy that I am pregnant and said if I wanted to stay home and focus on my family or take a new career path she would help me. Grrrr. She has only been with the company since last June. Everyone else loves my performance - it's just her. And she never said anything about my work - it was all personal. It made me so upset I started having cx.

So, now I think I should start looking for alternative jobs since I can't stay home. But I really wanted to stay there for at least a year more so I can leave 100% vested.

At least now I am not going to bust my butt to go back sooner. The gov't says I get 12 weeks, and 12 weeks is what I'm a'taking!

I finished a week and a half or 2 weeks ago. My feet just couldn't take it and as a supply teacher it was getting dangerous (I felt) to be working with little kids especially on yard duty. I just didn't feel like I could get to them fast enough if there was a problem.

Go talk to your HR department! Could be a case for discrimination! Seriously, don't go hunt for another job when there's no reason to. . .especially since all her complains are personal. Plus, not being 100% vested would really tick me off and I'd fight to stay.

Yep, still at work full time. What a crazy mess it is, I am quitting when the baby comes and moving back to Seattle once this little man is out. It's still pretty slow, and I don't care about impressing them, so honestly my performance is not stellar! I mean, here I am posting at 10:00 am-not my most professional (did my taxes on Friday, isn't that horrible?)

I'm still working. I only have a little over 7 weeks of paid time off to spend, so I can't use anymore of it until after the baby is here.
