I live near SF and know virtually nothing about the green fest... could you shed some light on it for me?

I'm quite happy to see this forum. Quite often the Green Living Tribe threads got pretty cumbersome!

It happens in November in the city... I forget the name of the convention center but it is south of market. It is pretty big, and there are loads of booths from everything from solar, to biofuels, green building, organic foods and even supplement companies that are more eco and organic. You can also get organic fibers like clothes and towels etc. and some cool gift items. The foods court is all organic, some raw and very healthy. There are also seminars that are a lot of fun. You should definitely check it out!

How is this different from mindful home management?

I went to the one in San Francisco in November and it was FUN! I went for one day and I wish I have gone for at least two.
