Kalum David arrived 3/19!! (c/s, religion ment)

Our beautiful little miracle Kalum David arrived via emergency c-section on 3/19. He was 6 lbs 9oz and 19.5" long. I got an hour into my labor and started having decels and on exam had a prolapsed cord. We are thanking God and an amazingly skilled OB for saving our baby (he also had the cord wrapped twice around his neck and it had a knot in it). We are both home now and doing fine although I feel like I was hit by a mack truck

Congrats on your little one!!! I'm so glad everything went ok even though I'm sure it was not quite what you expected. Sending you lots of and feel better vibes. Hold your little one close

Okay, the list has been spruced up and updated with links to birth story threads, pictures, blogs, etc. If anyone has other suggestions for the format please let me know.

If any mommies want me to change the information on the first post, please let me know either by pm or within this thread and when I see it I will make the updates.

Congratulations everyone!

Ok... for my brain's sake... can we put the births in chronological order? ;-) I don't know why it bugs me so much to have them mixed together like they are... but it just does!

I am loving all the names of the babies on this ddc!!!!

Time to post my own birth announcement (now that the name has officially been chosen! Phew )

His official online birth announcement can be found here.

It would be redundant to type that all out again, wouldn't it?
