Oooh, I like all of those names. I'm partial to Elias as that will be our boy name. But I have always loved the name Tobias, too.

And I think if Noel is your fave, then go for it. You'll probably get the Christmas thing alot, but if you love the name that's all that matters.

We are planning to name our baby after we meet him/her. Our ds wasn't named until he was a few months old. I got family members off our backs by saying that "Smurf" was our favorite. They'd get really quiet and say, "Oh..."

So, this time around. I'm keeping them at bay with these:

Jack Roger -> Every male on his dad's side has that middle name. The man and his brother have the same middle name. I wanted the middle name to be his mom's maiden but I don't want to give grandpa a heart attack.

I love the name Benjamin but that's my ex-boyfriends name who I'm still friends with and the man does not trust. I'd like to live so I'll skip out on that name.

Ella Rose -> His grandma was Estella (aka Ella) and my mom is Rosa Maria. We're having a boy so we just have to save that name.

LOL, you crack me up! Our last name ryhmes with Winner and we told people our first born's name would be Lenny or Minnie.

I'm not really sharing our baby names with family this time until we find out the sex and a firm on a name, that way I can be strong in my decision and not put up with the gas faces.

That said, since they don't surf here... our daughter will be named Eleanor Ruby and if it is a son, we are thinking Owen Reid.

I also love the name Sebastian and have wanted to use it since my first son, but dh liked others better. This time he said we could us it if I wanted to, but now I am worried about my kids' initials. Aidan, Sean, and Sebastian. See what the first letters spell? I don't want to sign Christmas cards and have people think we named our kids in a way to make a secret curse word!

Is that so stupid? I love Owen, so it's not like I will forever regret not using Sebastian. Weird thing is, my dh's room mate before we moved in together started dating another friend of ours when we started dating. They moved 1/2 way across the country and we rarely hear from them. However, they have a son named Owen. I was wondering if we should ask them if they would mind us using the name too. We never see them in person any more, but do still have mutual friends that live near us that we see a couple times a year.

Well having found out today that we are having a girl, we get to use the name that we've been wanting to use for a long time. Her name is going to be Jovie, I have no idea what to choose for a middle name though. We are really stuck, still thinking on it =)

I was all set on Marin for a girl last time and I'm still thinking over if I still like it (NOT after the Men in Trees character!) so it's a contender. I also like Amalie, buy I think it's a bit close to Emily and that was a fairly significant ex for dh. I'm waiting until se find out the sex in the next week and a half to really start researching. Nothing for boy's names yet, but I think it may be a girl. (It was hard enough naming a SECOND boy for us - he wasn't named until he was a day old.)

I like Fiona for a girl, but dh likes Violet. His suggestion was to give her (if it is a her) name Fiona Violet, then we can both call her the name we each like. Good thing we have some time to decide, lol. Although he is adamant that it is a boy.

DH and I have very different names on our lists, but these are ones I'm looking at:

Girl: Rowan, Sloane, Beatrice, Marlowe, Olive
Boy: Rowan, Dylan, Malcolm, Marlowe, ???

Boy names are tough!! We know the MN's will be Basil William for grandparents, but that's it. DD's name is Evelyn Pixie, and she thinks the baby will be "Twenty"!!!

Given the nature of our pregnancy I can't join in on many discussions regarding pregnancy however I can with this one.

Baby "M" will either be Miles Edward if a boy or Myrtle Dillan if a girl. We have an ultrasound scheduled for 4/4 but we are sure Amy is carrying a girl.

Okay Amelia is only #82 on the ss website for most common names in 2006. Amelia is back on!
