Aplix and elastic

I am replacing aplix and elastic that didnt hold up through 2 children. Suggestions on what types work better, and last and where to get them? The aplix is on my bummis covers, they are curved. Do I cut the aplix or leave it square so it doesnt fray? Is there anything special I should do?

I don't think it matters wether you keep the Aplix curved or not. You can also try Touch Tape wich is a little stronger. Aplix and Touch Tape will work with each other. I use polybraid elastic in my diapers and fold over elastic on my covers (1"). You can find them all online. I have them and there are other shops listed in the stickies at the top of this forum.

TouchTape will probaby hold up a little better. And yes, you can trim your hook tabs to be rounded if you like. I do, so there are no sharp corners to poke Bub in the belly.
