results of 3 mamas and same midwife?

Hi, April ddc lurker here. Whatever happened with the 3 or 4 of you mamas that had the same midwife? Just curious - it sounded like it could become very interesting!
Congrats to all of you with your new babies, your stories are helping those of us preparing for labor!

LOL well 3 of us here did!!! I was due the 28th, another mama 29th, and another the 2nd. My water broke the 1st and the other 2 the morning of the 2nd...we were all in labor together! I was closest to delivering so mw was at my house. No sooner did I birth my DD than one of the other mamas 20 min away was pushing....mw sent a backup to one mama and she whizzed out of my house without even measuring the baby or checking me LOL (I'm a thrid time mom and she knew I'd know if something was wrong) to the mama pushing, made it there about 20 min before her baby was born. Next morning went to other mama in labor and helped her, her labor went on for a couple more days. MW did come back to my house the morning after DD2 was born to check us out. So it all worked out in the end LOL.

What a great story! The midwife must have needed to recover as well, lol Thanks for responding!

Yeah, I don't think she got much recovery time...she sent her backup to me while she was whizzing between the other two mamas, then came right over, and spent chunks of the next two days with me, while going back and forth to more mamas...a midwife's work is never done!! She's really amazing though. I feel so lucky to have been able to work with her.
