Knocked up? - Page 2

we took our employees to see it in theaters... we did not expect the naked shaved/waxed crotch scene... but it was funny nonetheless.

"The big one is staring at me and that short one is being very droll." That line cracks me up. I loved it the first time I saw it, the second it was less funny.

I couldn't agree more. It was okay, but we bought it (hadn't seen it before doing so) and I haven't watched it since that first time. Definitely not as good as I expected.

Parts were hilarious. Anything by those guys is going to be extremely foul.

I actually lived (loved)the scene where he got out of the car on the street, except my guy got out before the car had completely stopped moving, so that part was especially funny for me. I had to wind it back several times to hear the dialog because I kept laughing and missing it.

I liked it. Not enough to buy it, but it was entertaining.

I used to go out with someone in it not telling

I didn't mean to post that yet!
I saw the person in question soon after it came out, and was expecting to love the film.
But I have to say it left me feeling... well.. not feely good if you know what iImean.
And I was expecting to enjoy it much more.

I just couldn't relate to it in any way. Maybe that's the problem I had with it.

*cries*
The 'shrooms scene is one of my favorite scenes of any movie ever. I cry laughing.

I love Knocked Up.

I loved the 40 Year Old Virgin, and expected to love Knocked Up, but really didn't.

Some smiley moments here and there, but otherwise meh.

How come the guys get to be all fun-loving, and the women are always uptight? How come the guys get to be flabby and imperfect, and the women are all svelte and well-coiffed?

How did they all live in such gorgeous big places? The brother-in-law had some job that involved going to see bands, and he and the wife lived in a huge place, while the handful of stoner losers without jobs somehow rented a place with a pool...then the protagonist guy gets a job in a cubicle and rents an apartment of his own (this is supposed to be LA, right?), where he and the gorgeous female protagonist and the babe will live happily ever after, no doubt affording an awesome care situation after her six week mat leave. I just didn't get it.

Maybe I think too much.
