Ok, I need help mamas! I have posted before about my major nipple wound. It still hasn't healed, but now I also have lacerations all around the nipple, leading me to believe he is clamping down too close to the nipple with his four new teeth. He has the top and bottom two in front. What can I do to correct this? I am in major pain!!!

I wish I could help, but I came to this thread looking for the advice you got. My daughter only has two teeth, but her latch has been messed up ever since they came in, especially on the left side. Her top teeth look ready to come through any day now, so I'm looking for help too.

Blast, I was hoping you had gotten some answers as well. We're having the same problem and I think it may have contributed to my getting mastitis. He seems so young to be getting teeth but when I looked the other day there was a corner of one poking through .

This happened to me about a month ago....I would howl in pain when normally my nips are on the less sensitive side. For me, I think I was allowing him a lazy latch, so I went back to the basics and started sandwiching my nipple deeper into his mouth. The wound cleared up within a week after I started doing that. GL!
