Ok that kinda says it all. LOL But I have been using microfiber for my inserts for my pocket diapers. I buy the car towels and fold in 3rds then sndwhich that in between a prefold. I am looking at terry now thinking maybe that would be easier. do one layer of terry then the microfiber then another layer of terry. Or do you think a all terry insert would hold more? And how many layers of terry?
thanks,
p.s use old towels or buy terry from a fabric store?
thanks =)

I have used old towels in all of my diapers-- 2-3 layers of worn towel, sandwitched between two layers of old flannel, usually. This is about as absorbant as one micro-fiber shop towel folded into thirds

I've used 4 layers of a worn towel, that was about the same as my microfiber inserts. I tried 2 layers of the towel and that wasn't enough.
