Leaky gut & allergies??

So if a person has leaky gut & passes sensitivities on to their baby will the baby have IgE or non-IgE allergies or both? Wondering if its worth testing for?

My son has and IgE mediated dairy allergy. It showed up in his blood by 9 months (when we first had him tested). I clearly have a dairy allergy (but didn't know until I cut it out while nursing) that is not IgE-mediated (I was tested). I'm assuming it's a leaky gut problem and I somehow passed on an IgE allergy to my son.

I've been completely dairy free since (with one or two slip-ups) and am hoping that DS #2 will not have to deal with such a severe allergy.
