Peeing in the bed

My DD1 is almost 4. She is fully toilet learned during waking hours, and has been for over a year and a half. She wears a diaper for nap and bed.
She has recently been removing her diaper for naptime and then peeing in the bed once she falls asleep. She then wakes up, removes the wet clothes, and sleeps in the puddle. She doesn't seem bothered by the wet.
I think that she is removing her diaper to masturbate- and I'm fine with this. I've told her to tell me if she needs her diaper back on, and I'll come help her. She doesn't though. Sometimes she puts it back on herself.
Any suggestions for a way to deal with this?
My Dh suggested that we have her sleep on chux on the floor but I don't think that's a viable option.

What about pullups? Then she can pull them up and down herself (and depending on what she is doing she might not need to take them off).

Do you take her to the toilet right before she goes for a nap? Or have you tried waiting a while and interrupting her nap?

At this age we were lifting our boys out of bed asleep and standing them in front of the toilet at around 11pm every night. They would wee even if they seemed to be asleep and then could make it til morning without a wet bed - and its cheaper than pull ups.

Even toilet-using little people can do with some help at certain times in order to stay dry.
