Need help picking a book

I'm looking for some guidance and have narrowed down my search to three books. Anyone have an opinion about which would be the best place to start?
Time Out for Parents:A Guide to Compassionate Parenting by Cheri Huber
Adventures in Gentle Discipline: A Parent-to-Parent Guide by Hilary Flower
Everyday Blesssings: The Inner Work of Midful Parenting by M & J Kabat-Zinn

Everyday Blessings definitely seems different from the other two. I'm not quite sure if I'm looking more for "strategies" right now or for "philosophy".
Any thoughts?

Not sure what you are looking for, but I wanted to throw out "Raising our children, raising ourselves" by Naomi Aldort and Uncondtional Parenting" by Alfie Kohn. Good luck on your journey!

It's funny that you mention that book amyescott. That's the one that I have already but I really couldn't get past the first chapter. I guess it was just a little too "out there" for me (for lack of a more apt expression). So I guess I'm looking for something in a slightly different vein. Any other suggestions?
