BUmpy head??

My dd still has a bumpy head (where the skull plates overlap for the delivery). The pedi said it should flatten out by 2 months but she's almost 6 weeks & it hasn't changed Her head is pretty symmetrical, it's just bumpy in the back. Does anyone else have this/ know anything about this?
Thanks!

Anisa is a bit over 3 weeks and she is the same thing. It is normal, things will go to normal and even out.

I haven't read your post in the fussy baby thread, but saw you there. Given how quick her birth was, I'd get her checked by a cranial osteopath- it's possible that she's carrying some trauma from her super-speedy arrival.

Hmmmmm. My baby has a bumpy head in the back too. I thought that this was normal. We also had a fast birth.

We've got a bumpy head here too! I think it is normal.

Update***

Had my 6-week appt, today with my midwife & she said it's NORMAL and can sometimes take several months to resolve so I feel much better
She gave me the number of a local chiropractor & recommended a cranial-sacral adjustment
So I feel MUCH better & I'm sort of excited because we've never been to a chiropractor before.

Bean's head was bumpy for ages. Can't speak about the other three, but they were all born by c-section... I just remember thinking Bean's would be lumpy forever, but today it's round as a ball and hard as a rock.
