Looking for people who have experience wtih TENS...

I am getting ready for my home birth ( EDD Easter), and wanted to use a TENS in early labor. I have gotten a TENS, but the TENS does not have a "boost" button, as I have read that most "labor" TENS do. I do not have very much experience with TENS's; I had one client who used it (before I got there... I am doula in training, CBI), and found it wonderful, giving me some information. I really wanted to try and use this as well. Do I just have the wrong type of TENS? Is there some aid that I can get out of this? Is there a way to add a "boost" button?

Any help would we very welcomed!

Hmm. I have used a lot of TENS and have never seen one with a boost button. We usually just adjust the settings to where the mom likes them...some moms like them turned up during a surge and that is easy to do. It's a great job for a partner and some mamas like to do it themselves in the beginning of the surge. I guess I don't see a boost button as a necessity - I'm not even sure what it would do.
