can someone explain this to me

how would i figure out how to make this fit me? im guessing my bust would be 32 im tiny and my shirt sizes are almost alwasy extra small. so how would i change this to fit me any ideas. ive seen a lot of people do it i just dont know how. tips?

Easy (but first, get a tape measue out.) Casting on 132 stitches will get you a chest circumference of 31", which is a nice bit of negative ease. Alternatively, cast on 144 stitches, then decrease down to 143 after the eyelet row, then decrease down to 136 for the top, which will give you a 32" top with more room over the tummy...
