i have a question... his penis is a little red and looks a little swollen. he has a diaper rash that i've been trying to get rid of, and i need to know what i can do for him if anything. i've been using a zinc oxide powder, and know now that some kiddos are allergic. no more powder, and i have him naked now for some air. help!! i'll post a picture of necessary, i'm worried about him!!!

what kind of diapers are you using? if cloth, do you use a liner? i found that if ds' pee and poop touched he'd get a bad rash but as soon as i started using liners it was fine. oh where on his penis? if it's the head could there possibly be some stool in the foreskin? i don't know if that happens, this is my first boy too but that comes to mind as being a possible cause for an infection or irritation.

is he intact? ds2 sometimes gets red and a bit puffy around the foreskin. it usually lasts only one day though. I never do anything and it just goes away by itself.
