I don't have a toddler in the house

My baby is 3 tomorrow! Meanwhile, the baby is only 7 months old. One is talking in full sentences with helping verbs and articles, using the phone, operating the DVD player by himself, going to bed by himself, playing with minimal supervision for hours at a time, and is almost (crosses fingers) potty trained. The other is still doing this weird belly-flop thing because he can't figure out how to crawl, and is really not very interested in solids yet, or doing anything but sitting on the floor watching his brother run around.

It's the weirdest thing, not having a little person toddling around dropping things in the toilet and going "mama! hold me!" and "heeeeelp!" all day long. I'm enjoying the interlude.

enjoy your interlude! these years pass by oh so quickly! I don't have a toddler in the house either - but that's because my 'toddler' is nearing 4, and my other one is nearing 7! I'm still not ready to be the mom of a 7 year old!
