Ok Nevaeh turned one last Saturday, I am about 12 weeks pregnant at this time. My milk has all but dried up which is frustrating for both of us but I have done everything to prevent this and its not helping. She does eat solids and does great with yogurt, cottage cheese etc. However it seems like since I started giving her a bottle of regular milk to put her to sleep after she nurses that she has had diarhea and is starting to vomit a lot as well. The diarhea is very smelly, like vomit really and I am starting to worry about her. I don't know if I should get her some soy milk or soy formula to see if that will help or what. She is not dehydrated she still is drooling great, will drink sippy cups of water etc and does fine with that, but I am still concerned. The Diarrhea started 2 weeks ago tomorrow and she is also vomiting some off and on but Im not able to for sure pinpoint what is causing that as she is really not eating a whole lot, the only think I have noticed that could be causing it is those sugar wafer things. I took her in today and we did a stool sample to make sure its not bacterial or viral, and yesterday we got some goats milk to see if that helps. She won't drink soy milk or formula, so if this doesn't work Im pushing for allergy testing and we will try almond milk to see if that helps. Shes only gained 3 lbs in about 7 months and nothing in a month now.
Any thoughts?

Personally, I wouldn't do/push soy formula since a lot of kids with milk intolerance, also have an intolerance to soy. I know there's going to be an uproar about this, but after my two allergy kids turned one, the doctor said it was fine to give enriched rice milk. They eat very healthy diets, and even the GI doc said that it was a very balanced diet and neither needed vitamins/supplements. I didn't know about the 2 year BFing advice. I only knew mainstream "1 year" advice. Hopefully your doctor can tell you something. I'd suspect the milk, because you said it seemed like it was when you started giving the whole milk in a bottle that the vomiting and diarrhea started, but really it could be any food that you introduced around the same time.
