A question about Family Cloth

Ok, so... I went through two big long threads on family cloth, and I didn't see any references to this, so I just have to ask.

I use the Creighton Model of NFP-- that means the only thing I ever check is CM. The method specifies that you have to use un-crinkled white toilet paper to check the CM b/c you don't do any internal checks and you have to be able to see the qualities of the mucus-- every time you use the bathroom, so you don't accidentally miss a sign.

So obviously I wouldn't be using fun-colors of cloth, or anything, but white T-shirts would probably be ok, though, right?

Does anyone use CM-checking-only NFP and family cloth? What are your thoughts?

I'm Jewish and we keep to family purity laws, so we have to use white bedikah cloths to check for blood to know where we are in our cycle. Are you looking for recommendations? I've always used very white (no colored threads) cloths like t-shirts. There are also places to buy them. Just search under "bedikah cloths" or something like that. Let me know if you need any other commiseration.

We stopped using NFP 6 months ago or so, but I thought white t-shirts worked well. I just cut up dh's old white t-shirts into squares. HTH!
