What will this do to my supply and my baby?

I have been lucky enough to have a job where dd was with me and I could nurse whenever.
I am now working away from her and she is not drinking ebm during the day. I send some with her but she hardly ever drinks any. She eats a bit of solid food during the time I'm gone (about 8 hours).

At first, I was pumping once or twice during the work day but now I hardly get an ounce or two so what's the point?

My question is how concerned should I be about the drop in supply and dd not drinking during the day?
She nurses each morning right before I leave and nurses another 3-5 times before 8pm and then once or twice at night. Can I consider this reverse-cycling? I pictured that being more like an up-all-night proposition.
I really appreciate the feedback. She's a small kiddo at about the third percentile and I don't want to mess with her nutrition. She seems fine, but how do I really know?

Looks like she was born just two weeks after mine. By now it is totally normal for her to understand that no mommy means no milk. I stopped pumping for my husband a while ago (I go to school 4 nights a week). As long as she keeps nursing in the evenings and at night and is happy and having solids during the day then she will be fine.

Also, I don't know what chart you are using to judge her percentile for weight, but the charts from WHO http://www.who.int/childgrowth/stand.../en/index.html are based on a breastfeeding norm rather than mostly formula feeding like the typical US charts. Many breastfed babies are leaner than formula babies. As long as she is healthy, happy and continues to grow then it's just fine.

My son has done this since he was about 5 months old, although I am typically away for a little less time- 3 1/2 to 7 hours, depending on the day. I am sure it's different for every kiddo, but it hasn't affected my supply and I am not worried about him not getting enough- he makes up for it when I get home, and throughout the day, a little bit at night too. Some babies just refuse to take a bottle and prefer to wait for mama. As long as she's healthy and your supply isn't affected, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

She's just over the 3rd percentile on the WHO charts (she really is a small kid). I know she's doing fine now; I guess I'm just concerned about early weaning if my breasts aren't stimulated during the day to make milk. Plus, her gma (who she's with during the day) is convinced we don't feed her enough "real" food (jars). I'm afraid she'll overcompensate with jarred food (which we don't do at home) and what the ramifications of that might be.

All in all, it just seems odd to me for a baby not to have milk during the day!

Well, I'll be the dissenting voice here. I would worry about early weaning & low supply too. Personally, I would pump at least once while gone for that long. If she doesn't like bottles, try a sippy or open cup. Or have her caregiver mix the milk in with something else like oatmeal (after its cooked of course).

Here's some other ideas for bottle alternatives
