I have been lucky enough to have a job where dd was with me and I could nurse whenever.
I am now working away from her and she is not drinking ebm during the day. I send some with her but she hardly ever drinks any. She eats a bit of solid food during the time I'm gone (about 8 hours).
At first, I was pumping once or twice during the work day but now I hardly get an ounce or two so what's the point?
My question is how concerned should I be about the drop in supply and dd not drinking during the day?
She nurses each morning right before I leave and nurses another 3-5 times before 8pm and then once or twice at night. Can I consider this reverse-cycling? I pictured that being more like an up-all-night proposition.
I really appreciate the feedback. She's a small kiddo at about the third percentile and I don't want to mess with her nutrition. She seems fine, but how do I really know?

By now it is totally normal for her to understand that no mommy means no milk. I stopped pumping for my husband a while ago (I go to school 4 nights a week). As long as she keeps nursing in the evenings and at night and is happy and having solids during the day then she will be fine.
