Where do you get a non-disposable razor?

I have been using disposalbe razors my whole life. I hate them, they cut me often, and I'm just sick of throwing them into landfills. But I honestly don't know where to buy a good one, where you just change out the blades occasionally. Do you cut yourself less with a non-disposable? I often have razor burn too.

Personally I don't shave, but dh uses a non-disposable one from Lehmans and seems pretty satisfied with it. No personal experience here, but it's something you could look into. Lehmans is a great source for all kinds of other non-disposable and non electric alternative products, also. We love them!

I just bought my husband a non-disposable razor on Amazon. There were a bunch to choose from. He likes it a lot but he said there was definitely a learning curve (meaning he was pretty cut up for the first few days). I don't have any experience with it personally because I've been using his disposable razors lately so they don't go to waste.

I use a Mach 4 that you can buy anywhere and just change the blade out when it gets dull. It's a men's razor, but it cuts awesome. Never any knicks or anything.

Where? Like Target, or Kohl's? Do they sell the blades there too, then?

When I do shave I have had a Schik Quattro 14y/o DD has one too. I bought them at the grocery store and buy the replacement blades there as well. They come in 4 packs and I only buy them every few months. I have had the same handle for a couple of years But they are also big chunks of plastic that can't be recycled There is a good brand of recyclable disposables

Target, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, grocery stores, pretty much anywhere. It is made by Gillette, although I just looked at their website and it appears the Fusion has replaced it. But they are all the same really. I have been using Gillette men's razors for over 15 years.

You buy the razor and it comes with a couple of blades for around $10. Then you have to buy replacement blades as you need them. They are pretty expensive. But work so much better than disposable. They also don't rust like the disposable ones do.
