strange question

I make my own laundry detergent and got to wondering the other day if it could be diluted a little and used for an all purpose cleaner (tubs, toilets, mopping, etc.) Anybody do this or ever tried it? Just curious.

I've do it with premade detergent (Charlie's to be exact) I realized their all purpose cleaner and the detergent smelled exactly the same, and when I read their recommendation to use the all purpose cleaner to pre treat, I figured they must be pretty much the same thing in different concentrations.

I put a teeny tiny amount - like a pinch of the powdered stuff - in a 12 oz bottle with warm water to dissolve it and voila! All purpose spray. It works great. I especially like it on my stainless steel fridge and stove - it cuts through the grease and fingerprints really well. And I love that it basically costs nothing.

It's certainy worth trying with your homemade stuff. Worst thing it doesn't work and you can just dump it into your next wash load. All you've wasted is a few minutes time!
