thought some of you candida albicans sufferers might be able to laugh with me...
I've been battling candida since about Christmas (ugh), and just recently started GV...and it seems to be helping - yeah!
So, this afternoon, I was getting ready to dose up when 14 month old DS grabs the bottle of GV, splashes it ALL. OVER. MY. WHITE. BATHROOM. Yup. And I just renovated it a year ago. So, it was everywhere - the floor, sink, vanity, toilet, tub...I grab rags & start trying to wipe it up...
Well, the stuff is like radiation - it SPREADS. Faster than the speed of sound, I believe. And DS thought this looked like great fun and started smearing it further...I nearly lost it (I've had such an awful past few weeks, this was the last straw). I called my awesome mom, who came over with rubbing alcohol and saved the day - or at least most of my bathroom.
The trick, in case you should find yourself in a similar purple-y situation. Pour straight rubbing alcohol on the GV, and blot, don't rub. She got it out of everywhere but the tub
I had it reglazed when we renovated and the guy did an awful job, and I think the product he used was super porous.
