Need help with basic cleaner for mold

Thread Starter
We are having our shower re-tiled today, and the guys found quite a bit of mold. They said that it wasn't that bad, but really does need to be removed. I'm freaking out a little bit. : They are ripping it all out today, bleaching it, letting it dry out all day tomorrow and then Monday are replacing the plumbing and re-tiling.

We are staying at MIL's until Tuesday, because I refuse to go back until we can clean EVERYTHING. I feel super freaked out about all the mold being ripped out and carried through the house. I am also 36 weeks pregnant, so nesting might be making me extra crazy.

So - I want to wipe down absolutely everything and wash everything too (there's one good thing about having a small house!). I was thinking about using a TTO dilution for cleaning, but read that pregnant woman should avoid it. Should I use whilte vinegar? Straight or diluted? Any other suggestions? I usually clean with Shaklee Organic H2. I want to mainly make sure I take care of any mold dust that might have settled in the house. With washing bedding, etc. is it ok to just wash how I normally would?

*When using the straight white vinegar to clean, does it leave the smell for a long time? Is it safe to use on all surfaces?

Hi
I've just been looking this up for a mold problem with a stroller I have. White vinegar seems a popular solution for hard surfaces, wiped on neat. I think you can use that on almost anything. You could try vacuuming matresses/carpets etc for peace of mind. Hopefully your shower guys will have enough presence of mind to take the mouldy things through the house wrapped in some plastic or something.....
Good luck!
