i'm surprised no one has answered yet. i have not personally done anything with it or even researched it but i do watch "flip that house" (and similar shows) and when someone does it, they seem to choose it for cost reasons. They do usually stain, stamp and seal. Since its sealed then you'll be able to mop it and not worry about the color (although after YEARS i don't know). We used epoxy on our garage which is probably very similar to what they would use inside and depending on the color it COMPELTELY covers the concrete color and I've also seen (on tv) that they were able to put lines in the concrete so it looked like REAL tile (they might have added some color in the "grout" lines). i think you can even get a natural stone look with the staining and such.
