This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

What method is he starting with? Does he have a doctor he is consulting with?
He probably knows this, but its important that he is very careful with restoring, its very delicate skin that can be damaged easily, so its important to keep the skin moist, take lots of vitamin E, and get extra collagen, either through supplements or in a moisturizer.
Anyway, I am probably just repeating stuff you already know. Good luck to him, and to his journey through restoration.

That is awesome!! My DH began restoring about 6 months ago and the results have been fantastic - things are better all the way around, for both of us.
I am so thankful I found this forum, because I had never heard of restoring before then!

Great news! While tedious and lengthy, this is an easy process and our body is very good at growing new skin given a little encouragement.
I have been restoring for 7 years and am almost finished. It is quite an easy routine to do once you get used to it. Start slowly, and build as you get used to it and refine your techniques.
I have not needed to worry about moisture, collagen, or vitamin e, though some claim it helps. Where people get into trouble the most seems to be too much tension. So go easy at first and see how your skin reacts. Then build up. Most do not tension at night, since nocturnal erections could creat too much tension without you realizing it. I suggest at least refraining form this at first.
Remember, you are creating conditions in the skin that induce cell division. The new cells then create new skin. So the key seems to be to create enough tension, then wait for the skin to grow.
Feel free to pm me or have your DH do so if he has any questions or just wants to talk. There are forums like this oriented to restorers, which can provide support. And you are his best support person of all!
Regards

He's using the TLC packer, but only at night. He also does manual stretching every day. He isn't comfortable wearing devices during the day or out of the house, and doesn't want to try the leg strap for the TLC Tugger either. But he's found what's working and I'm not complaining.

DH bought the Foreskin Natural Restorer (formerly R2K)
He did his own research as far as devices go and that's what he chose. It's a little intimidating to ME so it's a good thing I don't have to wear it! I just hope I can enjoy the benefits.

The key to restoring is to pick a method (or methods) that fit into your lifestyle. Most need to stick with this for years, so it needs to be something that can be a routine part of the day, like brushing teeth. But many have reported success with a variety of methods.
Our body is amazingly good at this, it just needs a little nudging from us.
