Our baby arrived at 12:18 am this morning. After going in earlier in the day to get antibiotics for GBS, We went home at 6, by 11pm I couldn't get through the contractions. We arrived at triage at 11:20 never got admitted, from triage where I was a stretchy six. The midwife walked us back, I was begging for drugs, which I of course did not get - not time! I threw up, and kept feeling like I had to go to the bathroom. They wnated to give me a second dose of drugs for GBS, but I started crying because I couldn't sit still for an IV there was no way. I couldn't do it. Sitting on the edge of the bed I said, I feel the head, my water broke, the babies coming... I barely had time to get back on to the bed to deliver. It was really intense. What a cutie though.
