What to Put in Yogurt

I'm purchasing some yogurt from the farmer this week & was wondering what you all add in your yogurt. Do any of you sweeten it with honey? Do you use frozen berries? Thanks for any suggestions.

Mostly we just eat it plain, or with a few crispy nuts and berries mixed in for a fuller snack. Very rarely, we'll add a teeny touch of maple syrup or honey.

I often eat kefir with fruit preserves and honey mixed in as a treat.

DS2 loves it with honey.

I put a handful of frozen berries in the bottom of a dish, drizzle them with honey, top with yogurt and pop it in the lunchbag. By lunch time the berries have defrosted and you have "fruit on the bottom" yogurt.

We eat it a ton of ways but mostly cooked in pancakes, or I make a yogurt cucumber dip with mint and garlic or in a wide variety of raita's. My most favorite raita is made with yogurt, cucumbers and cashews with salt and a little garam masala.

If you like stevia you can put a few drops of the flavored liquid in and it tastes pretty good!! (I do lemon)

We put raw honey and flax seeds, we also add fresh berries or fruit sometimes too!

My favorite commercial yogurt was lemon flavored so I like to put a few drops each of lemon essential oil and stevia in my homemade yogurt. My boys add maple syrup, honey or cane juice crystals to theirs. Sometimes I add other things and turn it in to smoothies.

that's what we usually do.

Or lemon curd, or orange cream

DD will eat tzatziki like we eat a bowl of regular yogurt

Mmmmmm yogurt!

I like it with a little maple syrup or agave nectar then topped with granola and fruit (that's how I'm eating some right now!).

we put in some maple syrup and pure vanilla extract and it's delicious!

Raita, totally. Look up some recipes, it's a fun way to do yogurt.

Also fruit. I actually defrost the frozen fruit in the oh-so-TF microwave, then pour the warm berries and their juice over the top of my yogurt. Especially in the morning. Breakfast is a bowl of granola with yogurt and berries, warm.

YUM.

My kids and like to eat "mix it up" yogurt. We each get a little bowl on a plate with plain yogurt in it then little piles of add in bits on the plate. Yesterday we had coconut, strawberries and few chocolate chips. I could never get them to eat the plain yogurt until I started letting them mix in their own things.

ds's favorite is frozen berries and plain yogurt. Sometimes honey or maple syrup or agave necatar.
