ok- I'm melting down a bit... just got a call from a clinic midwife (not my normal MW and was cranky... not cool.) who told me that the blood work I had done after my mc last week says I have the gene for Factor V Leiden. She said they can't really decipher results from that without another blood test that tests for the other clotting disorders... The part I'm most pissed about is that she said it makes me high risk... does that rule out homebirth??

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I'm not sure about if you're a High Risk for a Homebirth, but a friend of mine with Factor V probably try a homebirth with a CNM. I' just have mutation MTHFR.
