I'm so stressed!

So I had an ob appt today and Im feeling really stressed and conflicted. First off my bp was higher than normal. My normal bp is 120/80 ish and today it was 136/82. So not hugely high but my dr seemed a little concerned. I'm 41weeks and he wants me to have an nst and u/s on thursday. If that has good results he wants me to decide if Im going to induce at 42 weeks(next tuesday) or keep waiting an accept the risks of going past 42 weeks. I really dont know what to do! I'm 2cm, -2 station and less than 50% effaced. I feel soooo stressed about this decision.

sorry you're stressed. So much could happen between now and Tuesday - don't assume you'll still be pregnant! In all likelihood you'll be holding your baby by then And if not, you will probably have more info by then to help you make that decision. Hang in there

I wouldn't be too concerned about the bp, myself. Mine has jumped around a LOT these last few weeks and both the OB and MW don't seemed to be concerned.

Someone on another thread had a similar question about induction. Have you tried acupuncture? It doesn't hurt and you will be amazed at the results. I got pregnant through acupuncture and it has helped me throughout the entire pregnancy. I had severe edema. 1 treatment and I lost 3 pounds of fluid!!! Obviously, I feel much better now. I am due on Monday and if nothing starts happening I plan on having a get-things-going treatment this weekend.
