Birth Videos on YouTube

Thread Starter
I've read a couple mentioning birth videos on You Tube that they used to show their kids birth before the big day.
The plan right now is that all of my children will be in another part of the house with the childcare doula during my labor/delivery but I would like to show them a few videos beforehand if I can to get them ready, just in case.
Does anyone have any particular videos bookmarked they liked? I figured I'd ask before I tried to sort through all of them myself as I'm sure there are tons!
Thanks.

Wish I could help you, I watch all of them so I don't have any real favorites...

I thought I had a couple more saved on my list, but I only found the one.

!! ETA: These two too.

Mine isn't anything fancy (no birth story or music or anything added, just a 10 minute video from right before the head popped out until we cut the cord - maybe one of these days I will pretty it up with a story and some music and stuff), but it was a very calm, peaceful waterbirth. If you'd like to see it, I'd be glad to put you on the "allow" list (it's private). Just PM me your user name for YouTube and I will send you a link.

there are many I just click on the ones on the side and see more--
here is one where you don't see much of the birth but the heart tones are low- and they give mom oxygen, and have her shift positions a bit- when born stimulation and suction and the baby comes round

Haven't looked at all the other videos yet (but I will later!) so forgive me if I'm repeating any of these:

I think this one is so beautiful:

ETA: Ooops, I just read the first post again - this might not be exactly what you were looking for, as it doesn't go as far as birth but instead is video of a woman singing with her husband through her contractions. Still totally beautiful though, so I'll leave the link

I like this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqrAMzuYupQ she is surrounded by her kids and I thought my kids would like seeing how they were reacting (or not) to the birth. There are stills and actual video (I wanted my kids to hear a calm quiet birth as that is how I am)

This one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fismvBCgGMQ
Its just stills (not video) but shows much and looks peaceful overall.

This one is SUPER quiet. I LOVE how she is all non-chalant that the head is out. This is an MDC mom with her surrogate son's birth. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoID=29855765

These 2 go together - its a little long but you can skip through the beginning of the first one to get to the "good stuff". This baby is born in the caul - the amniotic sac is still on his little face. Awesome birth! My kids (6 and 3) kept making dh and I rewind it so they could see the baby shoot out over and over. lol!!

That's my (short) list but I had some specific requirements of quieter mommas and videos over still montages.

I can't wait to add mine to the list! Due beginning of June...
