Whoa...Target?

OK, so I've known for some time that Target is selling brands like California Baby and Seventh Generation...but today I noticed that our local Target is also selling Giovanni hair care and Weleda skin care products.

Holy Cow!

I hope this turns a lot of people on to some good natural products, but I still feel obligated to support my local natural food store.

Target ROCKS!

I love California Baby & am glad it's there.

Never heard of the hair-care you mentioned
But I gotta show some love to Target!

I was just in there last weekend and had the same reaction. I hadn't been there in a while and was really surprised at the abundance of more natural products.

I looked for Cali Baby last week, & couldn't find it. I wonder if our Target quit carrying it?

Oooh if you ever see the Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo and Conditioner at Target, or anywhere else, it's awesome!!! I've been using it since college.

i noticed walgreens also had these brands last time i went. i guess they've gone mass market, too. the prices weren't any better than health food store prices.
Yeah, my walgreens carries a lot of natural stuff. It's amazing!

Here in the South, we have a grocery called Publix, and it carries lots of natural stuff, too...Seventh Generation, Weleda, etc. It also has it's own line of organic/natural products and foods called "GreenWise", and an awesome organic produce section. I love shopping there! But for most of my needs, I'm a Whole Foods girl. Publix is a mile away, and Whole Foods is in the next city over!

They have it at Costco too!

You have to give Kudos to the mass merchandisers jumping on the "natural" band wagon
Our closest Whole Foods is over an hour away it's hard to justify going over there with gas topping $3.50 a gallon on any given day.
We have Meijers here in MI and they carry a nice selection of store brand organic items and the four packs of Sunrise Brand 100% recycled TP. I'm sure as the trend toward greener recycled & natural products you will begin to see more and more mass merchandising and more stores carrying natural, organic & recycled products!
So........YEA FOR A GREEN TREND!

supermarket

BH

our local stop 'n shop just introduced a whole display of natural soap products, shampoos etc by lots of different companies, including those you mentioned above and more as well. they had dr bronners and dr woods (which was a bit cheaper so I bought it)

still, the prices of these products are way way too expensive, I wanted to buy jason's for the kids but it's just too much money!

I love Target! Too bad that the closest one is about an hour away.

I love Target too. I picked up Burt's Bees bubble bath and Burt's Bees Baby Shampoo and Body Wash from there yesterday.
The Target close my my house has none of those brands....

I'm in TX though and that may explain the problem.

ETA - Went to Target today and sure enough they had California Baby and Burts Bees. Good prices, too. No Dr. Bronner's though, that I could see.
I totally love Target now. I could spend a fortune there on every trip!
The Dr. Bronner's is in the beauty area--in the natural section. The California Baby is in the baby section.

Not so natural, but I noticed they now have Origins as well.

I found California Baby at mine, didn't see any Dr. Bronners. Our local HEB grocery store has tons of that, though.

Side note, I can't keep my DS out of the tub now. We've already gone through half the thing of CB bubble bath. I think I'm going to have to order a big gallon jug to prevent going broke.

I agree! Our Walgreen's has started carrying some green products (hair, etc.) but the prices are outrageous! I was looking at some the other day and this adorable young woman standing next to me made a comment about the new green products in the store. She said they must be great but there was no way she could even think about buying them; for her family; they were too expensive! It really irritates me that you have to be well off financially to afford heatlhy food and personal care products. Organic foods in our town are also rediculous! I feel guilty buying them!
