Introduce Yourself! - Page 8

I am PG for the third time. #1 here on earth and #2 was due in September but left us at 8 weeks. My EDD is 12/30 - 1/1 so I might pop in on both due date clubs and I hoping to stick around this time. I am looking forward to chit chatting with you all and getting to know you!

I'm Candice.. I'm a SAHM to four children and a doula and student midwife. We just recently discovered we are expecting #5!! We are planning a UC this go round. I'm due dec 28th by my LMP but I'm positive it's later then that since I ovulate later.

Hi,

I'm a stragler...I waited to test until I was undoubtedly late for my period. My name is Kemi and I am 5 weeks 4 days pregnant. My estimated "guess" date is 12/30/08, but I have a strong feeling that I'll go a few days early. This is my first baby. DH and I are so excited!!!

Ah here is the intro thread!

I'm Erica (though I will also answer to Aviva) and DH is Sandy, we live in Western Massachusetts. This is my third pregnancy. We lost our first son to IC and an infection halfway through the pregnancy. Our second was born safely after a pregnancy with a cervical stitch (a cerclage), gestational diabetes for the entire pregnancy, and 6 months of bedrest. He was born through a hospital induction basically for the reason that I was insane with fear. While I'm thrilled he got here safely I am hoping not to repeat the experience the same way. I'm trying to strike a balance with the medical interventions it seems I need and still having a pregnancy and birth that doesn't become hyper-medicalized.

This little bean is sort of a planned surprise...dh and I had decided to start trying but then back tracked on that plan, deciding to hold off for a few more months so that my three year old would be in preschool by the time I'd have to be on bedrest. We had a quickie only, what I thought was too long before ovulation for it to "catch" but apparently the little swimmers hung around a bit longer than I thought they could. So DH and I keep walking around saying "well just how did this happen?" and "oh no, what are we going to do this summer" but really we are thrilled and we'll figure it all out somehow.

We are older parents...DH and I will both be 41 by the time the holidays roll around...anyone else here 40 or older?

I guess I need to take the plunge and introduce myself here. AF isn't coming no matter how much I want her to. I am pg with #4, a huge suprise since my babe is an avid nurser. I have never had my fertility back this soon.

Other 3 are almost 7, almost 4, and 1. I have looked at my NFP charts and have figured out a due date of around Dec. 24th.

I am in NE Kansas at the moment but am fervently trying to find my way back home to the Houston, Texas area.

Hi everyone! I'm Kristin and am 7 weeks with #2. EDD is December 20. I had both an ectopic last year and a miscarriage, so I am excited to finally be here in the DDC with #2 and not in the birth loss forum again. I really feel like this one is going to go all the way - considering how horrible I feel already

I am planning on my 2nd homebirth - the first was awesome - and I can't wait to get through the first trimester yuckiness and start focusing on the good stuff.

Yahoo for all of us!!

I know we can't have too many stickies but it would be awesome to sticky this if we can.

Hi mamas! I just got my BFP a few days ago and it looks like I'm due at Christmas or maybe a day or two after. I already have a DS who is almost 15 months old, so he will be 22 months when this little bean is born.

I haven't found a midwife yet, but would like a homebirth for this baby. I'm just overwhelmed with the process and haven't made the time to start it yet, but I will soon I'm sure.

Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to all the "newly" pregnant So great to have you here with us!

I'm Holly, married for 2 years+ to my best friend. This will be number 1 for us and I am beyond thrilled! December 23 is our estimated guess date...so I may very well end up with a Christmas, anniversary (27) or New Year's baby depending on what baby decides to do!

I really want a home birth but haven't found a single midwife in my new town, nor do I think I can afford one (in Canada, so won't be paying for a hospital delivery). I'm sort of considering UC but I just don't know that I could handle that for my first kwim?

Hi! I'm Katie, currently 9w1d and due Dec 24 I'm mum to an almost 6yr old and busy 3 yr old, both boys! We're excited and nervous after a m/c September 07 at 17 weeks with twins. Send sticky vibes, please!!!

I can't button my pants and have the worst indegestion no matter what I eat, it's constant. Nausea and bouts of throwing up, all good signs that the little bean is getting what it needs. Hoping we're in it for the long haul with you guys!!
