I hope it's okay to post this. A friend sent me this article a few days ago and I am sharing it with all of my friends and family to help them understand what plastic is doing to our world and why I don't want plastic toys for my kids, etc.

Thank you for that link. I already avoid plastics, but this is helping to renew my commitment. I also hadn't consciously put two and two together about cans being lined with plastic. So now I have to ponder how to stock up on food while avoiding plastics!
