LLL meeting styles? - Page 2

Our group always starts out with the same topic stuff but it ends with a nice chat about how things are going, what's new and what challenges we might be facing. I really enjoy the comradery in my group.

Our group does a round robin type of style, and I like that because it gives everyone a chance to participate. But, it's not so strict that people cannot chime in when they need to or ask questions - we try to stay on topic because we try to finish the "meat and potatoes" of the meeting within an hour. But there is definitely a lot of time for people to bring up other things and ask questions or get help with concerns. We also have enrichment meetings every month.

If it's going to be structured at all, I like what one leader did at a group I was at. She went around and took a question from everyone and then we all helped answer each other's questions. It was very participatory, got everyone involved, but wasn't too structured or pushy.
