I put the date on my calendar so I'd remember to congratulate you on the 10th, and then I forgot to look at it!!!!

So...tell us all about it. How did you celebrate the special day?

Absolutely wonderful....

The actual adoption was short but sweet...I think about 5 minutes...

We went to breakfast with everyone who showed up for the adoption (16 people in the judge's chambers)

When we showed up for camping (we were in the middle of vacation so we drove back up for the day). My partner's aunt and uncle had a bouquet of balloons and a basket of gifts.

It was the best day, just next to the first day that I held her!
