Lets measure our bellies!

I went to IKEA yesterday and used one of those paper measuring tapes to measure...first time i did this...so i'm not sure if its accurate?

44inches here...at 36 weeks

Funny you should ask.....

I was measuring for a sling the other day and happened to check my circumference.....I'm 46"-ish

I love doing this! I measured my circumference in my first pregnancy, too, and it is fun to compare. When I delivered my first child my circumference was 44". Last week (at 36 weeks) I was 45 1/4". Needless to say, I have new stretch marks this time...

Right around 44" right now, which is the smallest its ever been when I'm pregnant.

41 inches at 36 weeks. And I have sooo many new stretch marks But I measured fundal height too and I'm up to 38.5 cm and I feel like I'm exploding very slowly. I feel like crying today.

Woah! -I'm the whopper of the group so far! LOL! I just measured this am for fun. I'm 39 weeks today and 47.5 inches. I just noticed my first stretch marks-all faint horizontal lines at the widest part of the belly.

I feel small now... I am 39.5 or 40 inches at 38 weeks.

ok im freaking out now if you are the whopper... Im about 39 weeks and I just measured in at 51 inches.... Im so not kidding.... I think im gonna cry...wahh! my dr told me the baby was big but this is just ridiculous.

nah! don't cry! all this is really quite relative. If we really wanted to be serious, we'd give our height and torso length too. Its that torso length that really tells the tale I suspect. I'm pretty short waisted, so it all hangs out there. I bet you are too!

47" for me!!!! And my midwife only suspects a little over 7lb-er. I have a short torso, so s/he is kinda scrunched up in the middle, I suspect. ETA: I'm 37 weeks...

I'm not due until the 15th and I just measured at 53" that's after I was so sick last weekend that I lost 5 lbs between weekly checkups. I've already had an 8lb 11oz dd and 7lb 9oz ds so pretty much any size between 7-9lbs sounds reasonable to me. My sister's children were all under 7lbs at birth and that sounds so tiny to me.

Well, I started out probably much bigger than the rest of ou, but Im 39 weeks and Im 56 in around the biggest part of my belly which is actually pretty low, and includes the extra from the love handles.

well I guess thats good to hear, they tell me my baby is roughly 8 pounds now. I dont know if my height has anything to do with the proportion but Im 5ft 8 in and not petite or anything but I wasnt overweight to begin with... I dunno. I just feel like this little guy really has stretched me out... over all Ive only gained about 25 pounds.

It seems like everyone just carries differently.. I mean, I am measuring right around 40" around and I am 5'6'' and incredibly short torsoed so who knows!
