Your Favorite Natural/Green Product

Thread Starter
I'm writing an article for my blog on green family/baby products for Earth Day and I'd love to hear what your favorite green product is. The one you can't live without or at least wouldn't want to. The article is geared to taking small steps to a greener lifestyle anyone can do. Then we are going to have a poll to pick our favorite overall green product.

What's your favorite?

Hmmm, if I had to pick one...just one??

I'll go with vinegar.

This isn't a baby product, but I will only clean with baking soda and vinager BECAUSE of my babies- I don't want them inhaling the other nasty stuff. Also, I LOVE Chagrin Valley products- natural soap and shampoo bars. Oh, and pure shea butter for dry skin.

I'm going with baking soda and vinegar as well. You can use it on just about anything and it WORKS.

If I had to pick a brand name, ready made product, it would be Dr. Bronner's.

Around the house - Shaklee's Basic H. I use that stuff for cleaning everything!

Personal care - Oyin Handmade's bath/body products.

Since we are talking green steps, I love my Chico bags. I love that they are compact. I keep one clipped onto my purse at all times. I use them for groceries, putting wet bathing suits in after the beach, just about anything.

I also love vinegar! My new thing is as the rinse agent/jet dry in my DW!

I'll put in another vote for baking soda and vinegar. They have so many great uses around the house (including almost all of our cleaning needs), they are inexpensive and readily available, and you don't have to worry about your little ones getting hold of them (except for potential mess making if they dump the baking soda! ).

If I had to only pick one, I'd say vinegar. If I could choose three, I'd say vinegar, baking soda and Dr. Bronner's.

Though I love buy brands like Biokleen, 7Gen, Meyers and a few others, I think vinegar is the best. I use vinegar & water for our hardwood floors and to keep our stainless steel and glasses clean and shiny.
