Alright, who put the grape juice in the dryer! Fess up! Silence. I know one of you did it because when I opened the dryer all the cloths were purple and theres an empty bottle of grape juice in there. Silence again. Sigh, ok, well next time one of you wants to tye dye something ask me before you put grape juice in the dryer, becuase grape juice belongs in the fridge and not the dryer.

A conversation with between me and my 5 kids last night. :

Seriously, what possesses kids to put and entire bottle of grape juice in the dryer?

I know my kid's been demonstrating all sorts of creative, experimental (bratty) behaviors lately because she knows she can outrun right now

Sorry, it's really not funny but I am cracking up right now!

Sounds like something my kids would do

OMG! That is quite a story! I can't wait to find out who did it.....that probably won't come out until the statute of limitations time is up, which is longer depending on the offense. This one should take at least 6 months! (my brother and I have committed offenses that didn't come out until we were adults...they were that bad!)

When my son was 5 and was staying with my ex-DH, he and his two little cousins (same age) were questioned about who wrote MOM on the side of my ex's car with a rock. So they were all put at a table, given a pencil and paper, and told to spell MOM. My DS proudly and neatly wrote M-O-M while the other two just stared at the paper blankly. BUSTED!!! I'm sure my ex to this day thinks I put him up to it. ; )

Good luck getting it out.

I must say that I had to share this with my husband, because it was just one of those "things you never thought you would hear yourself say and then you became a parent."

Not much later, he mentioned that one of his colleagues had also cloth diapered (we're the only ones among our friends...they're all doing disposables.) I told him to ask about their wash routine. He responded with, "That's not where the grape juice goes."
