How are you using it? How much are you using it?

And have you lost your plug?

How is your cervix... if you know?

I'm taking 3 capsules orally and 2 vaginally per day. I haven't lost my plug (but haven't ever lost it before my water broke with any of my pregnancies) and I haven't been checked so I have no idea how my cervix is.

So do you break the capsule at all before inserting or just let it dissolve itself? I've never used it before

They just dissolve, so I do them when I go to bed at night or it would get really messy!

I take 1 orally and 2 vaginally. my cervix is very soft and maybe 2cm and about 75% effaced. I check it myself. I dont break them, they dissolve easily.

For those who take it orally, do you take the amount recommended on the bottle?

I'm doing 3 500mg a day. That is what my midwife said to do, and what it says on the bottle.

I just started with them though.

I'm doing 1000mg a day vaginally/orally (1/2 and 1/2). I prick the capsule with a pin before inserting it vaginally and do it at night before bed.

I have not been checked, and won't be, so I have no idea how my cervix is. I haven't lost my plug yet, and I'm 39w2d. I've been doing the EPO since 37 weeks.

I bought mine at Target. I think its pretty mainstream and you might even find it at a Grocery Store in the vitamin section.

My bottle says to take 3 a day and its 1000mg each, does that seem like a lot??

I got mine at the Vit. Shoppe. But that is where I go for most everything...

I lost a big portion of my plug today! Lets hope labor starts sooooooooooon.

I started taking it orally yesterday afternoon and last night I inserted for the first time before bed. That was interesting to say the least, I woke up to a very soft woo-haa this morning

I started 2days ago and lost my plug today! And the crampiness is happening every 10 mins. Not getting my hopes up... not getting my hopes up...
