VOC panic -- any reassurance?

So, we bought the organic crib mattress and the low-VOC painted crib. But then we were at BabysRUs (ugh) and bought an el cheapo changing table because we were there and it was cheap and we needed one. We built it a couple of weeks ago and it definitely was putting off some fumes. They've lessened in the interim, though I can still smell them. Baby's due in a week. Should I be worried? I've been airing out the room everyday...

Try not to worry too much. Is it nice enough where you are to put it outside for a day?

Unfortunately not recently -- lots of rain. Maybe this weekend, though... Thanks for your reply!

The land of beer and cheese, eh? You're not in Wisconsin are you? I used to live in Madison -- loved it! Miss the cheese curds. And the friendly people.

Set up a fan next to it and let it air out with the windows open. We got a leather office chair lately that was just unholy and that was what we had to do.
